A neutral, discreet route for jewellery in divorce
An independent valuation and discreet sale of fine jewellery in divorce and matrimonial asset division — neutral to both parties, and handled with total confidentiality.
Independent, defensible valuation
When jewellery forms part of a matrimonial pool of assets, its value has to be established on a basis both sides — and their lawyers — can rely on. We assess each piece independently against the current pre-owned market, and can provide a written valuation suitable for the record. The figure is grounded in what a piece will actually realise, not an inflated retail price or a dismissive estimate.
Neutrality between both parties
We act for neither party. As a neutral intermediary we have no interest in the outcome beyond handling the piece properly, which makes our valuation and our conduct impartial. Where a sale is agreed, proceeds are dealt with transparently so both sides can see the piece was handled fairly.
Confidential handling
Divorce is private, and we treat it that way. Nothing is listed publicly, buyers never learn the seller’s identity, and all communication is mediated through us. A piece can be offered privately to selected buyers only, so it never appears in the public collection.
Working with matrimonial lawyers
We can work directly with your matrimonial lawyer or a jointly appointed representative — providing valuations for disclosure, holding a piece securely while terms are settled, and only proceeding to sale once both parties have authorised it. The process moves at the pace of the settlement, not ours.
